Frequently Asked Questions

Browse the most common questions about working with Rapid CPG. If you need a direct answer about your situation, book a strategy session with Matt.

What happens on the first call?
It’s a working diagnostic, not a sales pitch. You describe where your beverage brand is and what feels stuck, and Matt reads the situation with you. Most founders leave with a clearer picture of where their real risk sits and what the next decision should be. The diagnosis happens in the call, before any contract.
Is the strategy session really free?
Yes. There’s no fee and no obligation to work together afterward. The value is delivered in the conversation itself. We’d rather you leave with a useful read on your situation than feel pushed into an engagement that isn’t the right fit.
What does Rapid CPG actually do?
We connect the parts of beverage commercialization that usually break between specialists: product development, co-packer fit, production stewardship, margin and cost structure, and recall readiness. Think of it as someone who owns the gaps between your formula, your co-packer, and your numbers, instead of another specialist working in isolation. You can see the full range of services here.
What kinds of beverage brands do you work with?
Founders who are past deciding whether to scale and into deciding how. That usually means you’re making real production decisions, navigating formulation or co-packer selection, or preparing for a commercialization milestone. If you’re still pre-commercialization and deciding whether to move forward at all, we’re probably not the right call yet.
Do you replace my co-packer or formulator?
No. We work with the partners you already have. The job is to make sure your formula, your co-packer, your packaging, and your economics actually fit each other, and to catch the assumptions that break between them before money locks in.
How are engagements structured and priced?
Engagements are fractional and shaped around what your brand actually needs, so there’s no single price list. The first conversation is where we figure out whether ongoing support makes sense and what it would look like. Any scope and cost is discussed openly, before any contract.
When are you not the right fit?
If you’re looking for one-off advice rather than ongoing strategic engagement, if the priority is getting to shelf at the lowest possible cost rather than building durable commercial infrastructure, or if you need reassurance more than an honest diagnosis. We’d rather say so early than take on work that won’t serve you.
How do we get started?
Book a strategy session. You’ll talk directly with Matt, get a read on where your biggest risks sit, and leave with a clear next step. No fee, no contract, no obligation.
